For some unknown reason, the camera on my Surface laptop stopped working and the message says that it can’t be found.
I have been through all the usual steps:
Turn off and on
Check drivers
Delete driver and restart
The help link doesn’t help either.
Any ideas, please?
I assume it doesn’t show on device manager?
Sometimes uninstall/search for new hardware on device manager will re-install the device.
However, it may be time to exercise that warranty if it’s still in force. When Covid started, a lot of people needed their laptop cameras dfor the first time, only to find they had failed.
I have put the question to M’soft Support, so maybe they will solve the problem. I was working a few days ago.
