Can Anyone Identify This Tune?

From Baumgartner Restoration on Youtube:

Is this a classical piece? Or a modern interpretation of a classic?

Can’t help you with the music (I would guess it’s an original tune), but catch Lucia Scalisi on The Repair Shop if you’re into painting restoration.

Shazam was of no help. I’m not an expert, but my best guess is that it’s something modern. I hear a piano with a plucked string instrument (presumably a guitar, but maybe a violin being plucked?), and the occasional triangle. So it’s music for some kind of chamber trio or quartet. But the particular combination doesn’t sound like the sort of combination that would have been used back in the Classical music days. It definitely doesn’t sound baroque. I’m guessing not romantic either. FWIW it reminds me of the kind of music they play as background music at a spa.

Stylistically it’s a mashup of all sorts of things but harmonically it goes nowhere. My money’s on modern original piece created as background/ambient music.

Richie can name that tune in six notes

Guy Gerber , " What to do "

Shazam helped. Its Guy gerber "What to do "

Shazam told me a completely different thing, but it was wrong.

I just listened to that. That is definitely not it.

I’m betting Shazam is getting it wrong because the likely correct answer is this.

I’d guess it’s AI. It sounds close enough to this song that it would probably be copyright infringement if someone actually composed and released it.

There do exist some pieces of music intended for free use (under Creative Commons rules) for things like presentations and short videos. They tend to be extremely generic, like this.

I figure that if the SDMB community can’t identify this, then it’s not a well known piece, or even an excerpt.

It looks as if it’s custom made or more likely generic free or paid music intended for presentations as Gyrate suggested. Makes sense as Julian Baumgartner hasn’t answered numerous inquiries about the piece on his Youtube channel.

Thanks to everyone that listened to this and gave their opinion.
