Can anyone recommend music similar to the "tristram" theme from the Diablo PC game?

That music just sends shivers of pure delight running down my spine. I love music like this, and I’d love to find other instrumental pieces that are like this. Any suggestions?

Nope, but I just want to agree that when I first saw Diablo, the one thing that stuck with me was that music.

Already went there, and there’s no “Tristam” music. No music at all.

Hmm…well, it was distributed for free off their site for a LONG TIME. Do you belong to any media sharing networks / file-sharing systems?

no idea if this is what you are looking for. Since it is mp3’s for DiabloII and not Diablo original.

it has music for basically all the settings in DiabloII. like Tristam and Harem. outtakes too.

It takes quite a while to download the complete zipped archive of mp3’s but might be what you are looking for.

If you just want to use file sharing networks typing Mike Uelmen as the artist subcateogry would narrow the search for these mp3’s. But they’re available at the link provided.

I’d describe it as sort of gothicy acoustic guitars, and I too am interested in anything similar. I was replaying Diablo last night and just wandered around town listening to the music…

I just stumbled into a song that, while quite different, sort of captures the feeling of the tristram piece. In fact, it almost sounds like something that could be from the Diablo soundtrack. Surprisingly enough, its a Final Fantasy VII remix. Go here to download it -

Thanks for the link! I downloaded the Tristam theme and am now sitting here enjoying it emmensely while at the same time feeling like the biggest RPG geek EVAH!
