This is the cognitive dissonance of the Right that makes me shake my head in wonder. Biden is simultaneously a sad old man with dementia, and the evil leader of a political party that was able to engineer a stolen nationwide election, coordinating false victories in several key states, during the most closely watched election in American history. And also has full control of the actions of the DOJ and FBI.
SNL could just update the political references and do a beat-by-beat remake of this old skit, now with Biden:

“Dark Brandon” is a funny meme (precisely because it’s just as dumb as “Let’s go Brandon”, as well as openly stealing from it). But it doesn’t matter – the only people who have even heard of it are online political junkies, and Sam’s silly ideas that it’s divisive or whatever is ridiculous. No one cares about Dark Brandon, just like no one cares about Let’s go Brandon. Silly memes don’t matter, except to amuse us.
Yes, it’s funny, because the Let’s Go Brandon crowd think they’re oh-so-clever, but they’re not. Dark Brandon is intentionally stupid, and that’s why it’s funny.
I put it in the same category as “Thanks Obama”. Destroy a stupid right wing meme by making a parody of it that is more popular and widespread than the original.
Biden should wear a tan suit.
The Republicans are embedded so deeply in the “Never Say Anything Bad About Our Guy” mentality, that they simply can’t conceive of the idea that the opposition can tell a joke about the President without really believing the joke. So they think the “Dark Brandon” memes are just as serious as all the times they encoded “Fuck Joe Biden” by saying “Let’s go Brandon!”
It’s simply beyond them to realize that we’re laughing at both memes, while actually still holding Biden to some actual standards.
If he wants to poke fun at Trump:
It would be a bunch of older wealthy Christian white men supported by a bunch of younger Christian white women who look like Stepford Wives, saying “We are all Americans” in unison.
Is posting nothing but a political cartoon frowned upon?
The cartoonist should have also pictured the MAGAt with the spades and axes that created the chasm between them.
The ideas of neoconservatism and neoliberalism have been known and employed since Reagan’s term. The first is linked to the military industrial complex and the second can be seen in IMF-WB structural adjustment policies, among others. The only ones who think these are false claims are those who have been living under a rock for decades.
