But I thnk that’s more due to the jerkish nature of some of these posts, than it is due to the topic itself.

Aww, c’mon. I agree that filesharing is a bad thing if you’re running a FileMaker Server–you want your users to connect using FileMaker’s native protocol, not SMB–but aside from that, it’s a completely natural presence on a network. What, you want everyone to be transferring files only by emailing them?
