What’s the purpose of this? Do you wish to promote something/someone – your band or someone else’s band? Or are you just sharing your playlist?
My own music, all my own copyright, for fun.
We’re big believers in promoting the arts in all its forms and that goes double for Dopers.

I thought they displayed in the profile and in your post or posts or am I missing something?
There’s a check box at the bottom that you need to check in order to display your signature, under “Additional Options”. I believe that the administration prefers that signatures only be shown occasionally, like once per thread, or once per page or some such.
(This post will be my first with a signature. My, how creative I am.)
ETA: Hmm. No signature. Dunno what’s up with that. It was there on preview.

Where is “Additional Options” by the way?
If you use “quote” or “Advanced Options”, it’s below the submit and preview buttons. If you’re using the quick response box, there’s a box immediately below the text box with a check box for “Show Signature”.
I’m going to try mine again.
