My wife’s computer was upgraded a day or so ago. The result is that she has lost her desktop with all its icons. What she gets on the screen looks like what you get from clicking on the Win button at the bottom left. Not only that, it deleted the Firefox button pinned to the taskbar and the only way I could get Firefox back was to reinstall it (against the advice of the IE that I had to load to download it). Is there any way to get the old screen with all its icons back?
Sounds like she’s in “tablet mode.” Click on the “action center” button in the bottom right corner, then click on “tablet mode.” It should immediately go mostly back to normal.
