We steamed a couple of small (~ 4 oz.) tails last week and they came out great. Used a covered soup pot, a steamer basket and 5 minutes later we had tails. Tasty and tender. But we want to do a dozen for a group Monday night. Can we stack 4,6 or more in one pot and do them the same way? We’d really like to do 12, and if we can do them in just two pots it would be pretty efficient, I think.
Well, how large is your pot? It’s probably going to require something a bit larger than a one- or two-quart saucepan.
We used, and plan to use again, a large soup pot - several quarts I guess. Not a sauce pan.
