Can I transfer a USB with mp3 (PC) to my Mac?

A friend gave me a 16MB USB full of mp3 music. It was copied from a PC. I can listen to the music, but it won’t open in iTunes on my Mac. Is it possible to move it to my iTunes? I searched YouTube videos on how to move it, but came up with nothing.

I don’t know if you’ll find a helpful answer within, but I asked a somewhat similar question a little while ago:

Transferring music files PC > iPad (no cable, no iTunes).

I have no idea why the thread was closed. Maybe a spammer bumped it?

Find your iTunes folder. Back up and restore your iTunes library on your PC - Apple Support

Copy the files from the USB stick to that folder.

Add the music to your library. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1347

Easy as pie. Thank you ZipperJJ!

I know you’ve already got the music, but it would have been quicker and easier to drag the mp3s directly from the usb drive to your iTunes window. It copies the files and adds them to the library in one swell foop.
