Tony Evers wins the Wisconsin governor’s race.

Walker not conceding… “Prepare for a long recount”.
Congrats Badgers on the apparent success in removing this cancerous tumor from your governor’s mansion.
The recount can only happen if the margin is < 1% (Poetic justice - the Republicans voted this after the 2016 recount paid for by Jill Stein)
Not sure it can hit that margin.

The current stats on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel election page indicate that it’s at:
- Evers 49.58%
- Walker 48.43%
They show only one precinct still not reporting, though I have no idea if there are yet-to-be tallied absentee or provisional ballots, as well.
Regardless, anything still uncounted would need to move substantially in Walker’s favor to even open the door for a recount, and he’s still currently down by over 30,000 votes.
Same website has all precincts reported
Scott Walker (I) R 1,293,799
Tony Evers D 1,324,648
so 30,489 out of 2,761,347 = 1.104%
I added the totals for the 3rd party candidates
If we just take those two it is 2,618,447 so 1.116%

All day long I was googling “Walker Concedes”, and lo and behold, that popped up as a headline this afternoon!
And yet the Wisconsin GOP still holds power in both chambers of the Legislature so they may show us what sore losers they really are.
Ding Dong the Witch is Dead
A necessary first step toward returning to sanity. We’ll see if the GOP passes a bunch of sore loser laws restricting the governor’s powers. I suppose mostly with regard to the line item veto.
