I keep hearing this song on the radio by some guy I could have swore was named Daniel Westerfield- He sounds like a girl at some points and its kinda pop-ish. It has a pop/techno beat(sorry wish I could describe it) can someone help me out. It sounds like he is a new artist but I could be wrong but the song would appear to be new. Can someone help me

Anyways, what I was going to say was I know its a long shot, but whenever I hear of a male singer that sounds like a female, I think of this song. So I had to suggest it, lest I go insane thinking it might be them. 
Could it be Darren Hayes, formerly of Savage Garden? I don’t ever remember him sounding like a woman on Truly, Madly, Deeply, but he definitely sounded like in his first solo hit, Insatiable. I actually thought it was a woman singing it for the longest time, until I saw the video. Insatiable isn’t particularly techno-pop itself, but a newer song of his that I haven’t heard may be.

I would put money on it being Daniel Bedingfield, who had a hit a few months back in the UK with Gotta Get Thru This. The style of music is ‘garage’ which is (IMHO) a kind of pared-down drum-and-bass/R&B crossover. If I remember rightly it was a surprise hit – I think he’s either English or a New Zealander and hasn’t done anything since really.
