The other day, my sister and I were talking about a movie we saw when we were kids. We can’t remember the name of the movie, and it’s driving me nuts. Here’s what I do remember:
There was a kid who was a magician. I think he had a little sister who was sick because I can remember him doing tricks to cheer her up. There was also a neighbor girl whose name began with the letter A; I remember him talking to her and mispronouncing her name, putting a long A instead of “ah” which he also did for the word “adieu.” At one point, he pulls a LONG stream of paper out of his mouth. He also asks for someone’s watch and puts it in his wizard’s hat. When he takes it out, it’s just pieces. He says, “I’ll have to say the secret formula to restore it!” and the line that restores the watch is spoken in the original non-dubbed voice - which I think might be Russian.
That’s all I remember, but I figure if there’s anyone on this planet who knows the answer, they will be here.
