Can someone tell me where to buy a large Battery Charger for up to "D" Cells.

I have been searching in stores and on-line.
I am trying to find a charger that can charge up to 8 batteries at once and from AAA to D size.

They use to be fairly common but now they seem to have disappeared.

I hope someone can help me.

Radio Shack has this one, but it only holds 4 batteries at a time. It’s cheap enough, so maybe you could get two.

I forgot to mention, I am trying to consolidate from 4 small ones to 2 bigs ones.
I have a unit that only charges AA or AAA, 2 units like the one in your link and one that only charges 2 batteries.

My 8 bay just broke this week.

I don’t know if they still make it, but I have an old GE that will charge 8 cells, anywhere from D to AAA. Two of the bays also have the snaps for 9v batteries.

I switched to the 8-bay from Radio Snack, because their heavy duty D cells are much stouter. Most rechargable Ds are 3 AAs inside a D can, but the heavy duty Radio Snack D is an honest D cell.

I had one of those GE’s for about 10 years, I would love to find another. If you have the Model number on the GE, it might help me search.

It looks like it can charge 8 cells of various sizes.
