This is a great affirmation of print media. Do you think that a new media outlet with a 24 hour cycle wouldn’t have jumped on it? With some caveats like “there are reports that Roy Moore got a teenager pregnant and forced her to get an abortion” Video journalism deserves all the scorn it receives. When print media dies, I suspect journalistic integrity will as well.

Hard to say if Shelby has that much clout (Sessions always seemed to get his name in the papers more often, even before he backed Trump), but it’s still got to be a body-blow to “da Judge”, in that it gives ‘respectable’ Republicans a clear out in voting for Moore, since their very own Senator couldn’t do it.

It’s not that they disbelieve the allegations, it’s that they think that it’s more important to keep as many GOP votes in the Senate as possible. If you think that there aren’t just as many Democrats who would do the same thing, you are delusional. While the allegations against Bill Clinton aren’t as bad, for example, the Democratic bass didn’t give a crap about them and disbelieve the accusers.

Actually, I saw a poll on NBC last night that showed a very healthy majority of Donald voters who disbelieve the women.
A very healthy number of Democrats disbelieve Bill Clinton’s accusers. I think though that in both cases, they just say that to justify their voting decisions.
