After Jones win, Trump called Bannon, enraged - blamed him for “wrecking America.” Bannon already extremely drunk, hung up on Trump.
While this is amazing news, I don’t think this is any sort of warning for Republicans for 2018. Rather it’s a warning for child molesters hoping to run for office.
Still, this has to sting for Trump, the RNC, et al, so I’m happy!

Moore has called for a recount. Alabama’s Secretary of State said it’s his right, as long as he pays for it.
And there’s the rub: Does he spend that money on a recount or on candy and gas for the van?

Anytime a Democrat wins in Alabama or a Republican wins in New York, under the right circumstances, shows the greatness of our system of government. Doug Jones is a good man, even though I couldn’t disagree with his politics anymore than I do.
If there were any doubts about what a true asshole Roy Moore is, he quashed those doubts with his non-concession speech and the singing of hymns. I do believe that God plays a part in human events and that He is just, however, when one’s perception of God happens to wholly correlate with one’s own actions, it is time to reevaluation that perception.
Congrats to Doug Jones and the people of Alabama.
The Republicans dodged a bullet here, but it is good to see that clown won’t be in the Senate. And it’s good to see Trump lose a battle. I wish this guy luck in the next actual election, but I give him almost no chance of winning. Unless the Alabama GOP voters are stupid enough to nominate Moore again.

Poor Mitch. He’d just gotten behind the idea that it was OK to support a child molester in the name of getting GOP votes, and then Moore loses. And people blame him for it. Poor sad turtle.
