Can women feel cleavage pushed together?

Can a woman feel the two parts of her breasts that are pushed together? I was told at dinner tonight that there are no nerves there and a woman can’t fell that the two breasts are touching each other. Is that right?

There are nerves there, else you could poke your wife with a pin there, and she wouldn’t notice. The lack of sensation is probably more habituation than anything else. How often are you aware of the rubbing of your balls against your legs as you walk? You get used to these things.

Well, my boobs tend to ride wide so when I put on my gel-bra and hoist those girls together, I can feel it. If I’m dancing or something I can feel them rubbing against each other.

Perhaps close-boobed women just get used to the feeling, but I’m sure there are a load of nerves.

I definitely do not like them touching. This happens with all sports tops I wear. It just doesn’t feel right at all.

You gotta keep 'em separated.

What’s a gel bra?

It has gel inserts that go beneath and to the sides of your boobs to push them up and together.

Why do they call it a Wonder Bra?
When she takes it off, you wonder where her boobs went…

I’m a big boobed girl. I can’t feel anything that isn’t in the areola or nipple area. Only pain sensations (like a cat scratch) or a sharp pinch.

Some women do however feel it. I dated a girl who was well endowed the way Bill Gates has some money. Anyway, she would always complain that when she did wear a bra she could feel her chest through her breasts (when one rested on the other). I imagine it can be similar between breasts.

Ok Lady you owe me a keyboard…and a beer.

I can feel them too, if I have enough hydrolics in use to get these tiny nubs in range of each other.

I just did a quick test and I don’t really feel it. If I put my hand there I feel it. I think my boobs don’t sense their own kind. It’s like incompatible roommates ignoring each other.

Of course we’re taking about a specific area of the breasts here. The other areas are another story.

There are definitely nerve endings there. If I get a stray hair trapped between 'em, it drives me nuts (and it always seems to happen when I’m in a meeting and can’t just plunge my hand down my bra). I don’t own any bras that create that much cleavage (it’d probably take duct tape) but I bet it’s just a sensation you get used to, just like how you don’t really feel your butt cheeks sitting right next to each other.

Do you feel your hair on your head? Do you feel your ass cheeks touching? Usually not unless you think about it or there is some relative movement. I think this is a m echanism to keep our nerves from driving us crazy. There is always something touching you Your clothing, body parts, air at 14.7 pounds per square inch. We are usually only aware of touch when there is a change.

I prefer to keep my ass cheeks seperated thank you. :dubious: wait… that doesnt EVEN sound right.

I was once involved with a woman with extremely large boobage. I’ve got nothing to add really, I just thought I’d bring that up. heh

I think there are *fewer * nerve endings there than in most other places. Pinch the inside of one of your boobs and then pinch your leg. I noticed a huge difference.

Also, can I feel women’s cleavage pushed together?

( . Y . )

There are certainly areas of the body that have more and fewer nerve endings per square inch.

I’ve noticed, in a totally unscientific study, that women with larger breasts tend to have less sensation in them. My guess is that the same number of nerve endings are spread over a wider area, thus less sensation. It’s relevant to this discussion in that women who are more likely to have breast-to-breast cleavage are the ones who are less likely to have a lot of nerve endings there.

But my crackpot theory aside, the “you get used to it” concept seems most reasonable.

Hey, hey, come out and play!
