is it possible to increase breast (female) by lifting weights?
more specifically, increase breast size of someone who has rarely worked out before?
mm, no not really. Breasts consist out of fat and glands, mostly, so the actual breast cannot be made bigger by excercise. The muscles that run under and at the side of your breasts can be excersized, and can sometimes have a “lifting” effect on your breasts, kinda like having a “natural bra”.
Maybe that’s what’s happening?
WAG - if anything i’d have thought it had the potential to reduce breast size if it contained a large amount of fat-burning etc. activity.
Not a WAG: working out and burning fat will actually lead to reduced fat content in the breasts, reducing size… but general reduction in overall body fat through training, along with increased upper chest muscle mass, by weight training that area, will lead to a better body proportion and the visual effect of a larger chest.
Then would eating more fatty foods and not exercising increase breast size?
erm not neccessarily (well it would…but not as much as other areas) fat tends to accumulate in certain places in the body. Chances are gaining weight would more likely lead to fat accumulating under the upper arm, the hips, buttocks, thighs, and abdomen.
that would depend on the amount of fat cels you have in your breasts.
Somebody seriously wants some boobs.
rookie523, if you want to get bigger breasts, eating a bad diet and gaining weight might do it. The problem is that your body will grow proportionately along with your breasts. Fat will be deposited all over, and in women that mean the hips, buttocks and thighs grow faster. Again, your breasts might grow a bit by heading towards obesity, but as a proportion of your body, they might look smaller.
plus its not the size of your thrupennies, its quality that counts.
trust me - i’m a man
Y’all have seen pictures of Queen Latifah, right?
Healthy, toned women look better to me, regardless of breast size. When I first saw Aliens, I thought Vasquez was one of the sexiest ladies I’d seen in a long time.
My experience, as elf and Phil said; working out has toned my entire body. In the process, the building up of pectorals plus the loss of extra fat has restored my natural proportioning in the chest area; my breast are not larger but the underlying muscle is. The overall effect is great.
Lifting weights will increase “bust size”, because the underlying muscle will grow to push out the breast. But, lifting weights increase test. levels in women so they could shrink as a result, depending on intensity of exercise and genetics.
I once knew a girl who started working out at age 10 and continued until she was 16. During this time there was a remarkable increase in the size of her breasts.
Drink a lot of cappuccino and eat less.
