Can you come up with a better slogan for this deli?

I ran this by my SO (who was completely happy that you all are coming up with great slogans). He’s got a couple favorites so far:

And

Great ideas, dopers!

Cecil’s Deli in St. Paul; better than any deli in Minneapolis.

Kosher or nosher; nothing beats Cecil’s Deli

Remember the Chaze

Chazed and Confused

Chaze of our Lives

Chazer Time

Chazertize Me

Chaze it Up

Son of a Chazer

Where the Chaze at?

You gonna eat that?

Chazed or Unchazed?

The problem with “Chazer” is it means “pig” which is a … not so favorable thing to be compared to by a Jewish person, and it sounds like “Chazzerai” which is a rude Yiddish word for something that sucks in a slobbish disgusting way. Literally, akin to pig-crap.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but don’t use any form of “Chazer” – non-Yiddish speakers will have no idea what it means while Yiddish speakers will associate you with crappiness. Lose-lose.

I also am looking for a funny slogan for the Deli i work at for our new shirts. The deli is called Fishtown Market in the fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia PA. we have the basics: ham, turkey, bologna, salami, roast beef, yadda, yadda, yadda. Something that could possibly be taken as innapropriate like “cant beat our meat” but not as provocative. Or even somethin normal like “Fishtown Market Ill Meat you There” Also here we call our sandwiches hoagies instead of subs.

I have no slogan ideas, but I’m going to be in St. Paul this Sunday. Maybe I’ll stop in and let inspiration strike. (Of course, a sandwich on the house might help get my creative juices flowing…;))

“Chazers – kosher to pig out on.”

That menu is making me hungry. I live in East St. Paul. I might make a little up to Cleveland Ave. later this evening.

Reminds me of a Jimmy Carr audience member who said a deli in their neighbourhood’s slogan was : “Try our kebabs, you’ll never get better”.

Nah, I like “Chome of the Chazer.”

Hey wait, this is a zombie – the odds are good that the T-shirt issue has been resolved in the past two years. I’m going to leave it open, though, 'cause that’s the kind of laid-back mod I am.

Well, yeah, now that you’re gainfully employed, you’re laid back, sure! :stuck_out_tongue:
