…Well, can you?
Later.
I do it all the time, and I am the self-proclaimed worst procrastinator in the entire world. Seriously, I’m bad about it. I wish I wasn’t.
Can I think about that tomorrow? My mind’s on other things today.
I can’t because I’m busy doing stuff.
I can’t and I ain’t doin’ shit.
And I won’t be tomorrow either.
Relatedly, I can do it, I just don’t want to. And tomorrow I really won’t want to do it, since it’s Friday and Friday is almost the weekend and you’re not supposed to do anything on the weekends. Therefore, my Friday is going to be a busy day of me sitting on my ass.
Maybe next week.
You can. I can’t tell you how now though, I’ll get around to putting it off tomorrow.
Didn’t we clear this up like a month ago?
I think we didn’t have time to do it last month, so we put it on this month’s agenda. Let’s think about again in two months’ time.
(And hopefully by then the need to do anything will have gone away.)
But aren’t allauall promptly procrastinating rather than delying procrastinating?
We’re promptly procrastinating here to push back procrastinating about other things until later.
No, no, you don’t understand. I don’t want to procrastinate now: I have too many other things to do now. I want to start procrastinating at some time in the future. These are just delaying tactics, not the really serious procrastination. And if you want to discuss this further, let’s set up a meeting some time next week.
