Can you freeze ricotta?

I never seem to get through even a small tub before it spoils. Has anyone tried this? Does it thaw successfully?

yes, you can. The ricotta part is close to the bottom of the page.

I’ve stored ricotta in the freezer and then used it afterwards. It was perfectly fine.

Yep. You can freeze it. Just think of all that frozen ricotta-laden lasagna in the grocery store. And the stuffed shells. And the ravioli.

Now I’m getting hungry …
