Can you help me find a song?

I think this is going to be difficult.

I have this song running through my head. I’ve heard it recently but can’t remember where or who sang it.

I recall some of the lyrics. I think the chorus is, “Young blood, Young blood” or “Young man, Young man”. Another part is, "when you’re young, you get … ". Those lyrics are just what I remember. They may not be accurate at all.

It was a male voice singing this. I likely heard it when watching a TV show and the only shows I watch often are Fargo and Gotham. I may have heard it during a Will Ferrel movie. I recall one movie where he rented a house with some old college friends and started a fraternity. It was a terrible movie and the odds are very low the song was from that movie.

Can anyone help me? I can’t get this tune out of my head.

I know there is a song called “Young Blood” and there are several people who sing it. But most all are ladies and like I said, the one I keep hearing was definitely sung by a male.

Googling "when you’re young, you get … " brings up the Ryan Adams song “To Be Young (Is To Be Sad, Is To Be High)” which featured in the Will Ferrell movie Old School that you mentioned.

Yes. That is it. Thank you ever so much.

I saw that film about two years ago. Now, I’m just wondering where else I could have heard that song recently. Oh well, the important thing is now I know the song and can listen to it.
