Nothing about her reminds me of Shelley Winters – and I remember SW from that period.
I asked her name in the comments section and someone says it’s Dody Goodman. I’m skeptical. Goodman and Arquette were regulars on Jack Paar’s show so the sketch could have come from there, but the woman’s voice isn’t right. I remember Dody from Mary Hartman Mary Hartman. I guess her voice could have changed in 30 years, but I don’t think it’d change that much.
I think she’s more Medfordish than Goodmanish, but if it’s a Jack Paar sketch, that could make sense.
Dody Goodman makes sense, especially for a Jack Paar sketch . . . but I don’t remember her face being that lean and angular during that period. And the voice doesn’t match.
Maybe the guy who posted the video will read the comments and settle it – assuming he even knows. I assume he knows, if he’s the one who’s compiling and posting the videos.
