Can you ID this Cartoon?

I’m pretty sure it’s a Woody Woodpecker cartoon but not one with Woody in it. There’s two characters splitting food. A big guys says “One for you, one for me, two for you, one, two for me, three for you, one, two, three for me.” And it keeps going with him taking almost all the food. Then in the end he tips the table and eats everything anyway. Anyone know the title? Thanks.

Rings a faint bell… I’ll dig.

I must have seen it as a kid, because I used to do this when I was a kid.

Bugs Bunny “Racketeer Rabbit” Edward G. Robinson and Peter Lorre - Racketeer Rabbit - YouTube; start at about 2:18.

“Racketeer Rabbit” (1946). Does no one watch Bugs Bunny any more?

See previous post…

I appreciate the guess but this wasn’t it. It was definitely food not money. The character may have been a wolf…not sure.

Bugs Bunny did the gag a few times, but Heckyl and Jeckyl did it, I think, first. At least, if you’re recalling Woody Woodpecker, it’s more likely you’re remembering the magpies instead of the much more famous rabbit.

Ok. I’ll keep thinking about it.

If you don’t get an answer here, you might try posting on the bcdb.com (Big Cartoon database) forums. Those guys know everything about cartoons.

I remember. Woody and the Buzzard(?) were sharing the loot (food) and the buzzard goes one for you, one for me, two for you, ONE TWO for me, three for you, ONE TWO THREE for me!

Eventually, the buzzard has ALL the food which he slides in his beak by lifting the table and angling it towards him, sliding everything down the hatch.

An enraged Woody smacks his end of the table, causing the tabletop to smack the buzzard upside the bottom of his beak.

Sound familiar?

“Buzz” Buzzard, by any chance?

That’s what I’m guessing but a quick scan of Buzz’s credits Buzz Buzzard - Wikipedia didn’t tell me which one is the one being sought.

This is exactly it. Now all we need is the title.

I found a page using this “division” method as a way of teaching math - this page said it was “Fink Fox” and Woody who were dividing stuff.

“Dumb like a fox”

(the only version I can find is a foreign language version)

Splitting up starts at about 1:18. I think you’ve got it…

This was it! Thanks! I was close when I thought maybe it was a wolf.

Okay…

Now can someone please identify for me the cartoon in which the dog is a sleuth trying to (I think) foil a would-be murderer and keep him from inheriting a fortune?

The one line I remember is “You were clever, [Grimsby? Hornsby? Something like that!], but not clever enough to outsmart Scotland Yard!”
