Can you identify this Giant Animal book?

I had it when I was younger and enjoyed looking at the pictures. They looked to be watercolors on a white background but probably weren’t really. Each page had a pair of humans running or swimming alongside the critters, and some of the illustrations were foldouts.

Link?

You expect a link to a vaguely remembered book they are trying to identify?

I didn’t “expect” anything. Just asked in case he forgot.

No link, sorry.

It was clearly a vague description of a book not on hand asking if anyone could identify it. I don’t know what kind of link you could have possibly have thought was even possible.

My apologies. :flushed:

Neuralink?

I remember the same book and I loved it as a kid. It was a big book with a blue cover. It had large animals, both extant and extinct, including dinosaurs, extinct mammals, and sea creatures. The human models were there for scale.

Yes! I remember one thing in particular that was a lizard with a very long neck. I guess it just dipped its head in the water to fish?

This book may be somewhere in my house. I’ve done a cursory look but haven’t found it yet.

This sounds kind of familiar to me too. It wasn’t a book we owned, though.

I think this is the book:

YES. Ahem. Sorry. Yes!

Missing, obviously.

Badass! I think I remember this book too. At a cousin’s house or something, it’s a bit before my time.

Some of those reconstructions give me physical pain to look at now  all the pterosaurs, and especially Spinosaurus

Yeah, for those that haven’t clicked on the very unhelpful preview box, you can see pretty much the entire book there.
