Can you recommend a good 12-cup coffee carafe?

I like to make coffee then pour it all in a thermal carafe to keep the it hot.

I used to think OGGI (or however it’s spelled) carafes were a good deal, but no more. The body of the unit holds up ok but the cap goes to hell in a hurry.

If the pump handle itself doesn’t break, the white metal that braces the pump will - and, it seems, the breakage has been occurring at an accelerated rate.

So, if you have any suggestions, I’d appreciate it. And if you can include links, that’d be especially nice.

I have one made by Zojirushi , but not one that holds 12 cups. It works great! I’ve heard that Thermos-Nissan and Tiger also make great caraffes.

Here is a Zojirushi with a pump feature that holds 101 oz.

Thanks, x ray!

I like the Zojirushi units. I might go for one.

Yours has held up well?

I’ve had it for about five years? I don’t use it all that often, but it sure seems sturdy and well built enough to handle more frequent use.

I’ve got the Cuisinart. I love it, but the cord seems to be goofy at the moment. Sometimes it won’t turn on and I have to unplug, replug, switch outlets, etc. It’s irritating the hell out of me. I paid $100 for it less than a year ago. Someone’s goin’ down…
