Paula Poundstone is pretty much assumed to be a lesbian and she has children (not sure if they’re foster, adopted or what).
I’m pretty sure James Hormel (former ambassador) has biological children from a previous marriage, even though you’re not asking about bio-kids and he may not fit your definition of “celebrity.”

On the flip side, anti-abortion and anti-gay madman, excuse me, activist Randall Terry has an adoptive son who came out earlier this year. Randall, who believes homosexuality is a choice and/or product of environment, insists that somebody else gayed up the kid before Randall got ahold of him.

I meant what arrangements if any exist regarding the legal relationship between Michaels and the children. I don’t know if ME and TLM are registered partners in the state of California or if they’ve legally married or civilly united in one of the jurisdictions that recognizes it (although I think I’d have heard about it if they did). If they do have a legal unon of some flavor, I don’t know what rights that confers upon TLM in regards the children of ME and Julie Cypher. If they were in a marriage recognized by California then TLM would be a step-parent and there are clearly defined rights and responsibilities that go along with that legal status.

Sara Gilbert is gay? I should have known. I used to have the biggest crush on her when she was on Roseanne, and me having a crush on a girl is about a 90% accurate indicator of lesbianism. I gotta figure out some way of disconnecting my gaydar from my libido. It’s too damned frustrating.

Amanda Bearse, of course, the pioneer in a lot of things. She’s directing now instead of acting and keeps her head down publicity-wise, but last I heard her partner was Dell Pierce (sp?) and she had adopted her second kid (first one’s named Zoe); there was a custody battle between them and Dell’s former lover, I think, but I don’t know how it turned out.
Well, no, they didn’t get legally married. They registered as domestic partners. Those of us in the States still need to make that distinction, unlike our friends in the Great White North.

And, I will duck and cover, but Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopted during their sham of a marriage…say what you will, but…does anyone believe he was shooting blanks and/or she is infertile? I have heard about Tom, from a very reliable source but no, I do not have a copy of the film in question.

I always kinda wondered if Darlene/Sara Gilbert was gay. I had a major crush on her and the actor that played David. This information shall prove useful if I ever climb the ranks in the acting world, and have the opportunity to flirt with either of them. It’s like my high school dream come true.
