i eat too many potato chips on the couch and get potato chip crumbs everywhere and don’t clean them up until the next day. i put on my jammies and read my shel silverstein books out loud to my dog or my hubby. sometimes i put on my favorite disney cartoons and fall asleep on the couch.
Video games and cartoons. Awww, yeah.
I always loved the smell of a freshly opened can of Play-Doh. I seem to remember it having a slightly salty taste, too.
(Why are you staring at me like that? You’ve never tasted Play-Doh when you were a kid?)
Now I want to go out and by some Play-Doh. Silly Putty, too, so I can press it on a newspaper picture of Bin Hidin’, and then stretch his head until it rips apart. Cool!
Nothing beats transforming a Transformer™.
Sadly I have no jammies.
But I will crawl down on the floor and build a bitchin’ city out of blocks with pup one and pup two and race Hot Wheels around it until we knock it all over.
That, and play Sponge Bob computer games with my son when he comes home fron school and I’m supposed to be working!
I usually re-read my kid books, eat chocolate, watch movies, colour (with pencil crayons I need some wax ones) cuddle with my teddy’s play with my cabbage patch kids (Barbies are in Calgary) and sometimes I even hide in my closet and read there…
I play with my stuffed animals. I swing on swings at elementary school playgrounds. I play with little toys that I keep in my bag. I work on my rubberband ball. I edit my Inspector Gadget page. I watch Sesame Street (I actually have a book called Sesame Street: Unpaved. It’s quite interesting). I read some of my old Beverly Cleary books. I watch Toy Story and Toy Story 2.
I drowned my inner child years ago (can’t remember if it was beer or scotch that did the little bugger in). Now the outer child has run of things.
