I wanted to vote for the Marxist-Leninist Party, but they didn’t run a candidate in my riding.
NDP, me.
First time I’ve seen this sorta poll on the SDMB. Didn’t know it could do that. New feature?
Green.
[thread=533070]Yes[/thread].
Green Party.
Oh, and for those new to polling - I’ve used the anonymous feature, so your response won’t be tallied with your name - no-one can tell who you answer this poll. Of course, if you want to explain who you voted for, feel free to post a reply in this thread.
You should have added a “Did not vote” option. I would be curious as to how many did not.
In true Canuckistanian style, I didn’t actually vote FOR the Green party, I just voted against everybody else.
I sort of had to vote for the NDP, considering that I was managing their campaign here. I was actually the first person to cast a ballot in the riding of Jeanne-Le Ber.
I didn’t vote. Not because I didn’t want to, but because my riding was in one city while I was working (and temporarily living) in another. And unfortunately, owing to scheduling and distance, I missed out at my chance to get back to the first city to vote at the advance polls.
In case this situation reemerges, you could have voted by special ballot at any returning office, or by by applying to vote by mail.
Ended up voting for the NDP. I was leaning towards the Green Party but something at the last minute made me switch my vote. I can’t remember what that was.
Thanks, Matt! Good to know for next time.
Green.
Keener.
I can’t remember whether I voted Liberal or NDP last time, though I’m leaning towards thinking I voted NDP because I wanted them to have my 2$ (or whatever the value per vote is), I didn’t particularly like Dion, and my cat likes Jack Layton’s moustache (seriously it totally gets her attention when he’s on TV!) If I eventually went with the Liberal candidate, it would have been for something frivolous like the NDPer’s posters having a creepy picture or something.
I live in Gilles Duceppe’s riding. It doesn’t really matter who I vote for, does it? But I do it anyways, because I like the little pencils and if I don’t vote, I figure I can’t complain about the outcome.
I live in Michael Ignatieff’s riding, so I’m in the same boat. I voted Marxist-Leninist last election and it nearly made my mom’s head explode when I told her, so for me that alone made the trip to the polls worth it
Another one who didn’t vote for Iggie here.
Hey there, neighbour!
And this poll is ALL the damned voting I want to do this year!
