I know this is somewhat niche given that this is a mostly US board but I was wondering if anyone caught the season premiere of Republic of Doyle on Wednesday. I followed last season and enjoyed it quite a bit. So is anyone else watching this? For the uninitiated this is to what I’m referring Republic of Doyle Also as an aside I would like to do things to Allan Hawco that are probably illegal in 3 provinces. 
I have it on my PVR but life has not yet let me get to it. Last season was a hoot and hopefully it will continue to build. A friend of mine works at the CBC and says it did very well in the ratings for the premiere.
As a side note, a co-worker of mine will be in an episode this year as an extra (in the Duke of Duckworth, if I remember correctly) assuming she doesn’t wind up on the cutting room floor.
Allan Hawco does nothing for me but my wife would likely be happier not knowing my thoughts on Sgt. Hotness of the RNC. 
I had never heard of it before this thread, but admittedly, I never watch the CBC unless they have hockey or football on, and they don’t even have football anymore. The previews on the website actually look promising, though!
I watched a few of the early episodes and enjoyed it but missed a few episodes(don’t have a DVR) and so didn’t bother to continue watching. I figure I’ll probably watch it on DVD once the series is done.
