Clan Piper has been invited to Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow at some friends’ house. Our contribution is a pumpkin pie, cooking as we speak.
You know that this is part of the Canadian war on America, right? There’s a serious pumpkin shortage (The great pumpkin shortage of 2015) this year, and by stealthily moving their Thanksgiving before ours, the Canadians are undermining the entire morale of the USA by using up all the pumpkins first.
Next week they’re going to invade and impose free health care on the US. This will be your fault.
I’ve never been a fan of pumpin pie…I’m an apple pie man myself. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying it!

Reminds me of the old days when I worked for a Canadian company, and they’d give us the day off.

Since my grandparents settled in Hamilton and London Ontario I respectively wonder if I could drop by for dessert. I’ll bring treats.

I’ve got about 7 or 8 pumpkins sitting in my garage trying to stay cool, but they are for Hallowe’en, not Thanksgiving. If you want one…
