Okay, in all seriousness: what do you think of this–and Belinda Stronach’s legacy in politics?
In all seriousness: I don’t. It warrants little more than a shrug and a raised eyebrow at people who were quite seriously promoting Stronarch as the next (or at most, next-after-next) Prime Minister.
I think her political legacy can be summed up in one non-word:

“Legacy”?
I followed her leadership run, and so studied her a little, and came to one inescapable conclusion: She’s stupid. I don’t mean I disagree with her, or that I don’t like her, or that our politics don’t match. I mean she’s stupid. Slow. Dull-witted. Thick. Not so bright. Not a lot going on upstairs. It’s not an accident that when she did switch to the Liberals, Paul Martin put here in charge of something that had no importance in his government. He needed her vote, but he knew she was dumb.
Stronach has, in her lifetime, accomplished pretty much nothing. She’s a famous businesswoman solely because her father put her in charge of his companies; even there she was largely a figurehead, because she doesn’t actually know anything. Her only other claim to fame is her ability to screw famous people. Her father bought her all her jobs and it was the importance of Magna to Newmarket that got her elected, and her daddy’s money and influence that got her nominated in the first place. The only thing Belinda Stronach has ever personally accomplished was graduating from high school.
She’ll now go back to being a figurehead at Magna, which is pretty much the only thing she’s good at, and will be forgotten outside of rich people’s country clubs and folks who read “Frank” magazine within five years.

I’ve never, from this side of the border, had a good impression of her. I’m just surprised she didn’t cross the aisle again, perhaps to the PQ this time. She’s an attention whore, pure and simple.
It’s been recently replaced by the more upscale “Charles” magazine.
Synonym for ‘Dilettante’.
One word:
Whatever.
A study in why CEO’s should never run for politics, she probably has been told that she has absolutely no chance at higher office and she is leaving and taking her toys with her, to her next pursuit, what ever that may be.

Or whoever he next pursuit may be, based on the Wikipedia biography I looked into to find out who the hell she is. 
Kinda hot, I gotta admit, and all that money doesn’t hurt.
