Cancer free boobies!

So glad you’re making a celebration of the weekend! Have a wonderful time, and feel no single moment of regret that the tumor won’t be there to share in the fun!!

Hooray for cancer-free boobies!! All the fireworks are hereby dedicated to our boobies!!

My favorite thing to wear on my baldness was biker do-rags. Ebay has great ones, and then I sewed my own after I bought some for patterns. It was too hot to wear anything heavy or itchy.

Congratulations Ivy!! I hope you’re enjoying your celebratory weekend.

That’s awsome news, ivylass! Three cheers (or two  ) for Cancer Free Boobies!

Yay!

WOOT!

I’m very happy for you.

This is awesome news! Yay!

I saw the chemo doctor today. I start on Monday. They’ve scheduled it for the afternoon, so I’ll be able to work a half day, then leave a bit early on Tuesday so I can get my white blood cell booster shot.

I have an appt on Sunday to shear (or as close to it as I can stand) my scalp. The nurse said the hair usually starts to fall out after the first treatment.

Eight treatments over sixteen weeks, starting Monday. Here we go!

Uber-dorky jumping high five!

ivylass - Well, I got squished today. I’ll have to wait for the results.

ivylass, what wonderful news! My thoughts have been with you. Thanks for keeping us updated. I know it’s not much…but we’re here for you.

Good luck. Sending healing thoughts your way.

That’s excellent news, ivylass!!! Hooray for cancer free boobies! My free-range boobies and I celebrate with you!

Keep us updated!

ivylass - Got the letter today. “We found an irregularity. Please contact your doctor to arrange more testing.” Hopefully they’ve just found the spot they were looking closely at a few years ago before they decided it was nothing. But if so, they should’ve compared it against previous films, since I’ve had them all done at the same place. Oh, well. I’ll keep you posted.

StG

Good luck, sweetie. I hope it continues to turn out to be nothing.

Good luck.

Good luck, StGermain. My thoughts are with you.

A letter. Damn, that sounds a little cold.

When my mammo came back with an irregularity, they called and gently told me that I needed further testing. I went back in the following week for an ultrasound at which time they found absolutely nothing. I was laying on the table watching the furrowed-brow expression of the technician doing the ultrasound getting more an more anxious only to find out that she was furrowing because she simply couldn’t find anything abnormal in the breast.

Good luck, StG.
