Cane: any reason I should watch it?

I held off. Too many other things to watch. Now I’m wondering if I should erase it from my DVR.

Wikipedia says it’s about Cuban-Americans, a sugar plantation, some guy likes to womanize, some guy is devoted to his wife, blah, blah, blah. Sounds kinda Dallas-esque and sorta boring.

Was it that boring? I understand it’s probably also canceled.

I watched two, maybe three episodes. I lost interest. I don’t think you missed much.

Because sugar is the new oil.

It’s deleted. Too bad. There was some man-candy in there. Alas, it’s getting on summer and I really don’t have time. By fall, there will be more stuff for me to record and blow off.

Good call. It was sooooo booooring. It couldn’t even hold my attention for 10 minutes, and I really tried. I made it somehow through three episodes and I can’t even tell you any of their names or anything. Just the sugar cane and the fact that it’s set in South Florida.

Alex Vega can’t live the buttoned down life like you. He wants it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, he might offend a few of the blue-noses with his cocky stride and musky odor - oh, he’ll never be the darling of the so-called ‘City Fathers’ who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what’s to be done with Alex Vega?
