So far as they know, he hasn’t actually kidnapped or eaten anyone yet. But he allegedly was using police computers to pick victims, was marketing himself as a kidnapper for hire, and discussed strategies for cooking women while keeping them alive as long as possible.
Too early to say IMO whether he really intended to do this, or just has a seriously sick imagination. But if he made an offer to kidnap someone for a $5,000 fee, he sure belongs in jail.
[Here’s a longer, more sensational, and crazier link!](“I was thinking of tying her body onto some kind of apparatus … cook her over a low heat, keep her alive as long as possible,” the FBI quoted Valle.) (NY Post, so sensational and crazy are all part of the package.)
A choice quote:
Cook her alive? Look, I’m no butcher, but I’m pretty sure that’d make her taste really nasty. There’s a reason you typically remove organs and drain the blood before chopping up the carcass and cooking a roast.
Uhhh…speaking in general terms here, not human specific…
he had a database of “at least 100 women and containing at least one photograph of each woman”
“You do know if we don’t waste any of her there is nearly 75 lbs of food there,” the other person replied
So anyone have some good cannibal recipes as the same thing over & over gets boring?
This is going to lead in the local news cycle for way too long, just like that recent horrible case of the Hasidic boy getting lost while walking a few blocks and getting talked into a house, killed and dismembered.
These types of cases are the worst - so awful, but so ripe for sensationalism and feeding on fears. People get fascinated for all the wrong reasons - can’t look; can’t look away.
When Law and Order: SVU does this show I hope it’s Richard Belzer killing and eating women (and when ***SVU ***does it, there will be dead, nearly naked women, not just ‘conspiring.’)
