I just spent 25 minutes trying to get here, each time, I timed out waiting for the board to respond. Is there anything I can do to avoid this from happening? Thanks Mod
No. The problem is not on your end.
This is an ongoing problem and we’re working on trying to make it better for everyone.
In the meantime, you might try to sign on when things are not so busy . . . the workday, daytime hours, that’s when we get the biggest crush of people and that’s when you’re most likely to be timed out. The afternoons seem to be worse than the mornings. Right now is like ground zero for timeouts.
At the worst of it, I’ve had to sign on in the middle of the night – literally – because it was the only time I COULD get on.
The problem is caused by several things, including our own small server, the vagaries of the online system, and the fact that everybody wants on and wants on NOW.
I don’t know what else to tell you, except to have patience and keep trying and try to shift your times to those hours when it’s not so hectic.
