"Can't take a bad picture of you, Cheryl!"

That would be a phrase from a camera commercial. Or a commercial, at any rate. 1990 or earlier. Sound familiar to anyone, or am I tripping?

Cheryl Tiegs did a series of commercials for Olympus cameras in the 80s. It was probably from one of them.

And IIRC, it was worded:

Man: “You can’t take a bad picture Cheryl.”
CT (to screen): “Neither can you - with the Olympus OM-10.”

I think it was around 1979.

A quick search of YouTube turns up some of the commercials but I didn’t see the one in question.

Great! Thank you!

Actually, I was asking for a friend, not myself. I said, “I bet I’ll get an answer within 24 hours.” Wait’ll I tell him it was one hour and 39 minutes. ETA: Well, two hours and 7 minutes for the exact quote.

Cheryl ran to the store to get some milk. I’ll ask her when she gets back.

That was my thought too.
