Can't use Live.com captchas no matter what.

My buddy got a Windows phone, and googling tells me that getting his contacts from the .csv file I’ve generated for his old Blackberry’s files needs to go through a Live.com account. Supposedly we can tell it to update from Outlook, but really point it as this .csv file, and all the contacts will be uploaded into the Live.com cloud, and then pushed to his phone.

We, two college graduates with all our mental marbles, have tried to sign in to his Live.com account about 50 times, and have never gotten past the CAPTCHA. At this point I can only blame Microsoft. But does anyone have any advice for this?

Also, when I sign into Hotmail I don’t get a CAPTCHA. Does this have something to do with the idea that he’s never signed in to this Live.com account on his Mac, my laptop, or his new phone? Is it possible to find another computer with a cookie on it that will bypass this?

Just in case this gets searched at some point, I’ll come back to say that I had a brainwave and got someone in another region to log into the account, and the captcha worked for him, which made it quit asking me. So try that.
