On May 1st 2004 I had an accident whilst working, this subsequently resulted in my being medically retired.
I claimed under my payment protection plan for credits against my credit card balance but was informed that the company which at one time had handled this type of claim was no longer used by Capital One.
I was passed on to another company and after lengthy correspondence they eventually agreed to pay, I received over a period of months about£1000 which more than paid my balance.
Today I received a letter from Capital One telling me that they were wrong in initially passing me on, I was asked to phone them which I did.
The beauties have apologised and have credited my credit card with £810.58p. 
I was asked if I wanted a cheque for this but said no just leave it., I’ll soon work it off
