Capitalist brainwashing for the win, or: How many logos can you guess in the Retail Alphabet Game?

I got S!

Saks Fifth Avenue

Nice. I knew it’d be an easy one!

X is …

Pixar

Wow, was totally barking up the wrong tree there. I though for sure it would be a electronics or tech company.

I got 10 of them.

Well, Pixar is both. Sort of.

Well, I broke down and cheated and found the answers, and I’m just embarrassed that I couldn’t get “Z,” now that I see the answer, because I partake in one of that company’s products almost every day.

Reply is now on my shit list, this is going to consume my fucking night. Grrr.

That Z is really tickling a memory and I just can’t figure it out.

I’m guessing O is

PLAYBOY

Nope.

It is a similar font, but nope.
I’m guessing the orange color is a clue. (but it isn’t Hooters either)

I was thinking Hooters or Home Depot, both strikes.

Is that N dark brown? Maroon? Is that a hint?

Finally gave up and decided to cheat. So depressing. I might have figured out the Z eventually and I knew the A was a common grocery item that I’d have tracked down with some detective work. The O is a total cheat though. There’s no way anyone should be expected to get that one, there’s nothing indicative about that font and the color is totally meaningless. Bad choice for a puzzle! The N is a bit of a cheat too since the image they used is a bad one with poor color clarity and it’s rotated away from it’s normal orientation. Boo!

Yeah, the “O” sucks.

Yeah, the O was dumb.

The N is stupid too… I actually found the logo (before I cheated), compared it to the puzzle and didn’t bother trying it. (“Nah, it can’t be that… the orientation’s all wrong…”)

Supposed to be on a black field too, at least on my PC it doesn’t look anything like black. The S is a little suspect too because of the way it’s used in practice and that it’s been modified in the last 18 months or so.

What is the O and the N? Tell us!

O is

Fox

N is

Ben and Jerry’s

:smack:

I only see that logo a dozen times a day. :stuck_out_tongue:
