I have not seen this, but a co-worker told me about it.
Basically, he was baffled as to what was going on in it.
If you’ve seen it, what’s it like?

It’s 100% stupid, that’s what it’s like. The cut-out is like in the showroom or on the street and is so “transfixed” by this supposedly wonderful car that it walks closer (flop, flop, flop) to take a look. It may get in and drive away (I forget, haven’t seen it in a spell.) Really bad, even for a car commerical. I’m not entirely sure the cut-out is supposed to be Wagner, though. Just someone of that age and sophistication that’s supposed to appeal to the age group the car is being marketed to.
“Satan – I’ve had enough of your two cents!” – The hilarious Federalist
Wagner (it’s him) is in the window as a cutout. He slides out under the door, sneaks up on the valet, cuffs him from behind and puts on his hat. Then he takes the keys from the driver. You see the car zoom off and the valet’s hat left in the street. Cool and strange. Don’t try to figure car comercials- that way lies madness.
That’s not actually a cut-out of Robert Wagner.
It’s really the ghost of a small boy who lived in that car dealership, and who died during the filming of the commercial.
Uke
No, no, no, it’s really a midget who was depressed at having all his lines cut in The Wizard of Oz, so he hung himself from a tree. The car commercial must have photographed the original film frame and used it to make the cardboard cutout.
You’ll have to picture the laughing face smiley, 'cause I learned MY lesson, not to print him out!!

I’ve seen the commercial, but didn’t really * get it * Now, after reading tshirts explanation, I do get it, and just don’t care!
