Is this commercial supposed to be funny?

It’s the Hyundai Odyssey commercial. Here

It’s the one where Judas Priest is playing in the background. They’re rock’n a Marshal stack in the back of the van. And my favorite part is when the van changes into a black panther for a split second.

I mean, it makes me chuckle but I’m not sure if that was their intent. Or did they actually think guys would see this commercial and think: “Fuck yeah! Mini vans rock!”

I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be very funny. Middle-aged dad is grocery shopping, but his van brings back the dreams of his youth! Since everyone knows that mini-vans are pretty much the opposite of cool, it’s funny.

Much like this Dad Life rap song.
