The headline made me imagine the worst at first glance, but thankfully the President wasn’t involved.
This almost reads like a Simpsons gag.
“Mom! Homer was in a car crash! Actually he was drinking and driving! Nobody was hurt but he ran into a Secret Service car. Part of the Presidential Motorcade!”
I see from the article that the driver is the same age and drives the same car as my boyfriend. Doh!
Given how heavy and well-armored the presidential limo is, I can’t imagine any injury to the POTUS as a result of being hit by a regular car.
My uncle was a police officer. His squad car was once hit by a drunk driver. I always thought that hitting a police car was the dumbest thing you could do while driving drunk, but apparently I was wrong.
