I’m in a spot. I need copy for an ad that involves a wine tasting that has a Caribbean theme. It needs to be funny… a tagline, poem, cute story… anything. It’s on Friday night and the food items are such as macadamia nut crusted scrod fingers and oyster popovers with mango chutney… the wines are all California.
I don’t know enough about the topic to be witty or even effective, for that matter.
“Join us this Friday,
…and don’t forget your sunblock
for a Caribbean Wine Tasting!
It starts at six o’clock.!”
… anything like this. Is there a poem about the Caribbean that I could be doing a spinoff of?
