Actually, my vote for most annoying finally went away, but I mourn the loss of so many televisions during his reign as Leader of the Special People. There is a circle of hell reserved especially for David Arquette and the band of leperous gorillas that will rape him for eternity.
I’m completely against the overplaying of certain commercials, but the Dell guy is just so darn cute!
As for the Geico gecko…it was a cute concept to begin with, but it’s been way overplayed. And maybe it’s just me, but does anyone else remember the gecko’s voice way back when the commercials were still new? (“I am a gecko, not to be confused with Geico, which could save you 15% or more on car insurance…”) It had a hint of a British accent. Personally, I preferred the original voice over that Australian voice they have on the commercials.
And the AFLAK duck is just the shit. Nothing compares.
If I remember correctly, it was Kelsey Grammer who originally did the voice of the Geico gecko. However, my memory is shaky these days (it’s a good thing my butt is bolted on, as my hubby would say!), so I am not 100% certain.
(Now, if I could just find that darn bolt and a good wrench…)

I’d like to nominate Teri Bradshaw to join the rest of these clowns in a battle royale. I wouldn’t have thought he could get any more annoying with those 10-10-220 commercials until they paired him with Alf.
Fuck, let’s just agree that they’re all annoying and torture them with sharp objects in a public arena for all to see.

I’m thinking that the Dell Dude can stop doing commercials now that his song - “No Such Thing” - is in the Top Ten.
Steve has a certain charisma that is hard to explain…conversely, Carrot Top needs to be planted…head first!!

As for CarrotTop, I’ll admit he’s a dirty pleasure. I think he’s funny. His commercials aren’t, but when he talks about putting his hair into two pigtails and messing with the workers at Wendys’ ("Oh shit! She’s here!!), it jus cracks me up. Beats the hell outta that damned preachy-hippie named Gallegher anyday. Sure, its not Shakespeare, but its still funny.
