Cartoon character: Blip, the monkey (?)

My dog has this amazing ability to appear on the other side of a baby gate that we set up to keep the other dog out of some area, and I’ve started calling him ‘Blip’ as a result.

I vaguely remember a cartoon chartacter named Blip, and the character was a semi-anthropomorphic monkey, sort of like ‘Bandit’ from Jonny Quest. Blip wasn’t a JQ character, however, and it’s been driving me crazy all weekend trying to remember where Blip came from. Space Ghost, perhaps?

We had two dogs who had this ability.
One we discovered could s q u e e z e through the slats. :eek:
The other had the ability to jump, grab, climb and skittle over the top. :o
