You are off topic, and your personal attacks are out of order, completely irrelevant, and your comments have nothing to do with this topic.
So in addition to pretending to be a judge of the Casey Anthony trial, you are also an SDMB judge in your fantasy world too? Neat.
Me too.
Off topic.

Otherwise , your comments have nothing to do with this topic.
She’s actually pretending to be the prosecution, defense, and jury, all at once.
Susanann, I’m still waiting for you to post a single shred of ACTUAL evidence against George Anthony.

Uh-oh, Celebrity Murderbot has a glitch, somebody bump her, she’s on repeat again.
Hey, Susanann, my posts aren’t off topic, so how about responding to my request to post one single piece of ACTUAL evidence that links George Anthony to Caylee’s death. Since you’re so convinced he’s guilty, there must be something on which you’re basing that belief.
The prosecutor proceeding with charges because he believed he had a case. I said he did not have very good evidence, but he had enough evidence to go to trial.
He actually obtained convictions on four of the counts, so I don’t feel bad for Casey Anthony at all.
It’s worth noting that the evidence against George Anthony would be even less compelling than the evidence against Casey was, the prosecutor will not waste the public’s resources going after him.
You really think so? I think the Judge will show how “fair” he is by sentencing her like he would anyone else. I call time served and she will be out smoking weed and sucking dick by Thursday night.
Susanann, since everyone is piling on you I’ll at least concede to you that you seem to have a decent amount of knowledge about this case. The whole situation with the body and how it was found is definitely pretty odd, and I never really pored through those details. I don’t know what’s up with Roy Kronk, and the investigator that chewed him out (that ultimately got fired) instead of finding the body. I did find the prosecution’s closing argument and rebuttal to be very convincing though, especially when pared against the very flimsy defense theory.
Good to see I am not the only one with that thought… I keep checking the news, waiting for the bulletin - “BREAKING NEWS!! Nancy Grace’s head explodes on live TV!”
On the serious side.. Yes, I think she was guilty of doing it but I think the verdict was correct. The state didn’t prove thier case. The defense was able to interject enough unanswered questions and cause resonable doubt to the states case. Not to say the state didn’t do a good job, I think with what little they had to work with and the condition of what little evidence there was. I also think there was a lot of lying and perjuring by other people and I don’t think Casey was totally alone in this.
I’ve heard varying things about the reliability of using the “death band” to tell if a hair came from a dead body. In anycase, it seems the defense was able to convince the jury that it isn’t a reliable test.
That’s sad.. but not surprising. Sorry to inform you that Fulton County Jail Deputies are not post certified law enforcement officers. But your rant was well put together and amusing.
You don’t need “Need” a body at times in criminal conviction as was mentioned previous in another post. I had the priviledge of playing a small part in the Shannon Melendi case.. and the body was never discovered but the conviction was obtained and appeals have been unsuccessful..
While there is no doubt that sucking and smoking are on Casey’s To-Do list, she may have to still wait a little while longer, as I bet the judge gives her the max possible, as evidenced by throwing the kid who flipped off the DA into the slammer for 6 days.
This judge seems to be intelligent enough to realize that a remorseless, ice-cold sociopath/murderer is getting off more-or-less Scot Free, on his watch, and I am hoping he gives her every moment behind bars that he is legally allowed…
You are very strange.
I hope he does as well.
The were on HLN right now in a panel discussion about how uneducated jurors are between a reasonable doubt vs. possible doubt. Something that affects many posters in this thread. They are talking about how to tweak the instructions to make it more clear.
They were saying a lot of things that I am saying here. You don’t need CSI evidence: DNA, fingerprints, eyewitness. Circumstantial evidence is good enough. And with circumstantial evidence, you can take it piece by piece and say, “This isn’t enough” and “This isn’t enough” and “That isn’t enough” but when you put them together, you’ve got to conclude, it’s not reasonable for all of these things to happen to an innocent person.
Casey Anthony had better make the best of her life. Twelve people gave her a fucking gift on a platter today.
On another note, she was only convicted of 4 misdemeanors. If she gets out Thursday, she can legally buy a gun and apply for a Florida concealed weapons permit. Good job jurors.
[Moderator Note]This level of vitriol belongs in The BBQ Pit, not IMHO, and I want all sides to knock it off now[/Moderator Note]
