I don’t doubt the Republicans will pull out all the tricks in the book to save this…look for Osama to “suddenly” be captured either the final night of the Republican Convention, or 7 days before the actual election. He has probably been locked in a New Jersey storage facility since last February.

  4. I don’t think this country can handle 4 more years of the Shrub. Two political bumperstickers I have seen recently: “Vote the Son Of A Bush OUT!” (complete with picture of cowboy being thrown from a horse) and “When Clinton lied, no one DIED!”

  3. Not gonna jinx it; my paranoid self says if I say Kerry here, it’ll be Bush just to spite me, and if I say Bush it’ll be Bush just to spite me.
  4. Here’s to next election not requiring one hand to cast my vote and the other to hold my nose. Or, hell, one out of the next ten, including Senator and Congresscritter votes. I’m not holding my breath; one orifice closed is enough.

  4. I’m sure Kerry isn’t the best Democrat in the country for the job. That will matter more after he’s elected. The more pressing problem is the worst Republican sitting in the Oval Office. Still, I should bet money on Bush, so if he does win I’ll be able to drown my sorrows cheap.
