I see the Domino Lady played by Alysso Milano with her hair dyed blonde.
Three more notes about a Dr. Strange movie:
Written and directed by Philip DeGuere
Starring Peter Hooten
Made in 1978
Not sure if anyone but me even knew it existed.
Who is that? (There was a Domino in X-Force, but I’m not sure who else you could mean.)
The original “Domino Lady” was a 1930s era pulp heroine whose adventures appears in “Saucy Romantic Tales.” She fought criminals and wore a domino mask and was very stylish. Here’s a link.

In the 1990s an artist named Ron Wilbur revived the Domino Lady as a crime-fighting adventuress, only she has a lot of difficulty keeping her costume on during her adventures. It’s like she’s not even trying. That’s the version I was referring to. They’re still pretty good adventures done very nicely in pen and ink but are not safe for work.

Not safe for work, you bet.
It also appears that Jim Steranko has been getting in on the Domino Lady goodness. In a safe for work way.
I see Alyssa Milano as an actress who has the same shapeliness, and the same thirty-ish appeal, and who’s relish a part that involved a lot of not wearing clothes.
I want to see a crime noir film starring Tom Waits as John Jones, the Martian Manhunter. This would focus on Jones as the grizzled detective who occasionally uses his extra-human abilities to aid in his investigations. Similar to The Shadow or The Spirit, but Jones would be more reluctant to use his powers as he is trying to fit in with the surrounding humans. Tom Waits definitely has the looks and the voice for the role and a definite down-to-earthness that counters the fantastic elements. Think Ron Perlman as Hellboy but without a paranormal storyline, just a paranormal detective.
I’d make an obvious exception for Captain Marvel (Patrick Warburton would be spot-on).
That was a made-for-TV movie. At least, that’s where it wound up.
Oh, for Dirty Pair: Laura Prepon and Chiaki Kuriyama
I’d like to see George Eads from *CSI * as Captain Marvel.
The Watchmen:
Doctor Manhattan - Billy Zane
The Comedian - Michael Madsen
Ozymandias - Ralph Fiennes
Nite-Owl - Paul Giamatti
Rorschach - Steve Buscemi
I like the choices of Madsen and Fiennes, but I could sooner see John Cusack as Nite Owl (charismatic enough to play one of the only likeable characters in the piece, plus he’s older and a little paunchy now), and William H. Macy as Rorschach. Not sure about Billy Zane as Dr. Manhattan, but he’s always been my number-one choice to play Grendel (Hunter Rose, of course).
BTW, I had a nice chat with Grendel creator Matt Wagner recently, and he told me Warner Bros. has a Grendel movie in the early stages of preproduction. However, it’ll be an adaptation of “Devil’s Legacy,” the story of the second Grendel, Christine Spar. Wagner says that the studio thought she’s a more likeable and relatable character, as it would be hard to base an entire franchise on an amoral villain as the protagonist. Plus, Spar’s story has plenty of flashbacks and mentions of Hunter Rose and his exploits, so viewers would get the sense of legacy there. Carrie-Anne Moss would be my first choice for Christine Spar, but Gina Gershon wouldn’t be bad either.
Well, if anime are included, that does indeed open up a whole new world. I can’t improve on the casting for Dirty Pair, especially Laura Prepon – she’d be perfect.
Now for “Dragon Pink,” hmmmm…
Santa: Charlie Sheen
Pink: Juilia Louis-Dreyfus
Bobo: Patrick Warburton
Pia: Julianne Moore
For another alternate Storm, I’d like to nominate Gina Torres, Zoe from Firefly/Serenity.
