I stopped burgling houses six years later, not because I was afraid of getting caught by the police, but because I burgled a ‘gangster’s’ house by mistake, and was made to realise the error of my ways, in that you never knew who’s house you were robbing if you were an opportunist thief.

(If anyone wants to make that Pit thread, I think that would be a better place to discuss Ivan’s deficiencies)
