Actually, I just rewatched the video, and the woman says his box number is 173. So I guess his address is:

I hope this isn’t considered a zombie post. If it is, I’m very sorry.

I just wanted to post an update on Sammy the cat, the sweet kitteh who spent his days in the window of the post office in Notasulga, AL and who gained worldwide attention when he was ultimately banned from the post office.

Sadly, Sammy was hit by a car and died yesterday. The post office flew their flag at half staff today in honor of his memory. Sammy’s PO Box is still open for those who want to send cards, letters, condolences, etc. to his owners.

Sammy was banished from his perch in the post office back in January after an unnamed woman complained that he didn’t pay taxes so he had no right to be in the federal installation. It was later added that she suffered from cat allegories.
